Five everyday habits that quietly improve your English

Small, sustainable habits beat occasional cramming. Here's what we recommend to our students.

At GM English Hub, we see the same pattern every term: students who practise a little every day improve faster than those who cram before a test.

1. Read aloud for five minutes

Pick any short text — a news headline, a song lyric, a paragraph from a textbook.

2. Keep a word notebook

Write down three new words each day with a sentence you made yourself.

3. Talk to yourself in English

Describe what you're doing while cooking, walking, or farming.

4. Listen to one English song per week

Look up the lyrics. Sing along.

5. Teach someone else

Explain a grammar point or new word to a sibling, parent, or friend.
