What the program looks like

You'll co-teach English to young learners (ages 8–14) and lead small adult conversation clubs at village schools and our Naouane campus.

Every volunteer is paired with a Lao co-teacher and a CELTA-certified academic mentor. You'll never be left alone in a classroom on day one.

  • Minimum commitment: 4 weeks
  • Maximum: 24 weeks
  • Intakes: first Monday of every month

No formal qualification required — enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. You'll be paired with a Lao co-teacher and CELTA-certified mentor from day one.

Minimum 4 weeks, maximum 24 weeks. Most volunteers stay 8–16 weeks for the fullest experience.

Yes — non-negotiable. You cannot teach or be photographed with students until verification is complete.

Placements follow Lao visa rules. Our team guides you through the process after your application is accepted. Contact us for current requirements.

Homestay, meals, orientation, mentorship and certificate are included. Flights, visa fees, travel insurance and personal expenses are your responsibility. We'll provide a full cost breakdown after acceptance.
